StillDrill is a voluntary training tool: map-based drills built from publicly available GIS data to help firefighters learn streets, addresses, cross streets, and target hazards in their still districts. It is a study aid — not a dispatch system, not an official product of any fire department or government agency, and not a source of real calls.
District boundaries, dispatch grids, address points, and building footprints come from public city GIS portals and OpenStreetMap, reproduced as-is. We do not guarantee accuracy or currency. Boundaries change, addresses are corrected, and data lags. Always confirm operational details against your department's official run cards, pre-plans, and maps. If a drill disagrees with your run card, your run card wins — and please tell us so we can fix it.
Most content needs no account. Where a department's drill area is protected by a department code, we may revoke access for misuse or when a contract ends. Department codes are for your roster only — please don't post them publicly.
The StillDrill software, design, and content are owned by StillDrill. Underlying GIS data remains subject to its original public licenses (including OpenStreetMap's ODbL where applicable). Department names and logos belong to their departments and appear only with permission.
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, StillDrill is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the site, and total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of amounts you paid us in the prior 12 months or $100.
We may update these terms as the product evolves; material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
